Rounds 1 and 2 of our IYOG Grant application process have been completed.

 Ninety high-quality applications were received in Round 1 requesting eight times the available funds. So, the selection panel of 5 had a difficult task. Each case has been considered individually and we allocated almost 100 000 Euros to 40 applicants. We deliberately spread the funding as widely as possible which meant drastically reducing the amounts awarded compared to the original request. 

Round 2 followed a similar pattern. The number of requests (84) was only slightly fewer while the amount requested was significantly lower at five times that available. The allocation process was similiar to Round 1 and we were able to award almost 100 000 Euros to 48 applicants.
